I’ve Had The Dance

Saat air matamu tumpah karena hatimu patah, kadang pada satu titik kamu akan menemukan bahwa segalanya memiliki dua sisi. Kamu bisa terus meratap atau kamu juga bisa (dengan berat hati) bersyukur bahwa at some point you were ever that mattered to someone. You can feel the pain now but when you look back, you’d feel a slight happiness that you were having such a perfect life, once. Mungkin memang belum berakhir. Mungkin ini sekedar jeda. Agar tahu rasanya berharap, jauh, agar rindu. If it’s meant to be, it will.

Looking back
On the memory of the dance we shared
Beneath the stars above

For a moment
All the world was right
How could I have known that you’d ever say goodbye?

And now
I’m glad I didn’t know
The way it all would end
The way it all would go

Our lives
Are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I’d have had to miss the dance

Holding you
I held everything
For a moment
Wasn’t I a king?

But if I’d only known
How the king would fall
Hey who’s to say?
You know I might have changed it all

Yes, my life
It’s better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I’d have had to miss the dance

(The Dance, Westlife (remake dari Garth Brooks), The Love Album)
